Tesla Motors co-founder and CEO Elon Musk agreed to pledge a Tesla Supercharger outside of the museum and $1 million for development purposes. The state of New York agreed to match donations up to half the amount if the fundraiser was able to pull in $850,000. Inman's goal was to buy the property for $850,000 and restore the facility to honor Nikola Tesla. Exploding Kittens, the card game dreamed up by video game designers Elan Lee and Shane Small and illustrated by The Oatmeal’s Matthew Inman, is now the most backed campaign in Kickstarter.
